Welcome to the Active horse agistment plus

As pioneers in Australia, Active Horse Agistment Plus proudly offers agistment on a track system, or paddock paradise. Embracing this innovative approach, we prioritize to provide a dynamic and engaging environment that aligns with their natural instincts. Join us in redefining agistment for a healthier, happier horse experience.

Here at Active Horse Agistment Plus we are focused on the well-being of our equine residents, we create an enriching environment encouraging natural behaviors. Our facility boasts a "rainforesty" area, diverse tracks, hills, flavored water options, and natural and man-made shelters. With an evolving herb garden, a sandbox, and various surfaces, we prioritize safety and stimulation. Forage is provided through hay nets, loose piles, bins, treat balls, hay-trees, and snuffle boxes. Grazing is carefully managed for optimal health, making our space ideal for overweight or laminitis-prone horses. Success track stories include horses gaining and loosing weight safely through constant hay availability. Welcome to a place where horses thrive in a balanced and nurturing setting.

Client Review:

If your looking for your horse to live the most natural way then this is your place.
I had my mare agisted with Toma over 1 year before I moved to my own property.
Luna was stiff and was recovering for a knee injury.
Previous places were more like square paddocks with no motivation to move other then feeding time.
After a couple of month I saw a great change in Luna. She was brighter, happier and her body was recovering well from her injury. I was even able to take her out for hillside trail rides.
Toma is very knowledgeable in everything around the horses and all she desire that your horse lives a happy and healthy life.

Track System Info Booklet

"How to provide an enriching and stimulating life for your horse"

I've put together a handy little track booklet for people wanting more information on tracks/paddock paradise and may want to set one up them selves.

In this booklet I cover

  • What is a track system
  • Track examples (they are not all the same)
  • Track Tips
  • Common assumptions and misconceptions
  • Track Trouble shooting
  • Recourses

Feedback I had:

"It contained enough information without being totally overwhelming"

and that's exactly what I was after.

It's available in PDF and sent via email

I'm happy to answer follow up questions via email
